The Installation Process

- Preparation: Old tiles must be removed before fitting the panels, and the wall must be perfectly flat with a flatness tolerance of no more than 2mm over a 2-metre span. Ensure the substrate is clean and dry.
- Cutting: Measure the wall and cut the panels to size using a circular saw with a fine-tooth blade or by scoring and snapping with a utility knife. Please make sure that if you are installing the double or multi tile options the cuts are made from the top and the bottom to centralise the grout line.
- Adhesion: Apply high-strength grab adhesive (such as Stixall) to the back of the panel in a continuous bead pattern.
- Fitting: Press the panel firmly to the wall. The boards lock together using pro tek’s unique click system.
- Sealing: Leave a 4mm expansion gap at the floor and ceiling, then fill these gaps with waterproof silicone.
