During installation, the fitter holds one panel at an angle of 20 to 30 degrees relative to the laid panel and pushes it forward until the profiles meet. Pressing or tapping the panel down engages the internal clip with an audible click. This action secures the panels horizontally and vertically. Managing Perimeter Expansion Gaps
All floating floors expand and contract with temperature shifts. A 6mm to 10mm expansion gap must be left around the entire perimeter of the room, including around fixed objects like radiator pipes and door frames.
