Good quality luxury vinyl this is the second time I'm going to buy it. However, I can see on the sample that the thickness of the backing has been reduced from 1.5 to aprox 1 mm, compared to the floor I bought over a year ago. This is a drop in the quality of the product probably to be able to maintain the price. This is the top notch of the protek range and people buying it are looking for quality, at least personally I rather pay a few more pounds and get the same as before.

Our Response

Hi Francesco

Thank you for the review , The product that you have now bought is actually a superior product to the one you originally purchased.

This is our new Tek - Core range , this offers you the comfort of the WPC range that you previously ordered along with the strength and durability of the SPC flooring

Great flooring and customer service was outstanding and really responsive.

We have had so many compliments on our flooring. It's easy to install once you get into the swing of it.

Maybe would advise to watch general videos on Youtube/ Tiktok for installing the Herringbone pattern before starting as there isn't step by step instructions to installing Herringbone pattern - this would be helpful for beginners/DIYers.

I would also order more than the recommended 10% as we had to order an additional 5 boxes.

BUT if it's a quality company with great customer service & amazing products - ProTek is the one to go for!

Our Response

Hi Reece and Jade

Firstly it was a great choice going for the Woburn Sand , this is such a popular colour to due how versatile it is and im really glad so many other people are taking note

In terms of the additional you are completely right , we do always advise that if fitting a herringbone flooring between 12-15% wastage should be applied to the order for wastage / offcuts

Your notes regarding the company and the service really go a long way and i have showed this review to the sales team , I will look to take your feedback on board regarding installation videos

If you need any assistance with another order or any general queries in the future please do not hesitate to contact myself or the sales team directly

Thank you again

Poor connection on click system uneven joints and brittle joints poor quality product .

Our Response

Hi Leslie

Hope you are well

We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with the product and i have tried to call you this morning and will send you an email as we would love to understand a bit more the issues that you were facing when fitting out product

As you can see from the other numerous reviews we have had on the SPC editions tiles collection there is mention of the ease of cutting and installation as well as the strength of the product itself

Our product is designed with a Unilic fitting system to ensure the fitting is a simple process and there should be no reason during the fitting period for the joints to be breaking

If possible i would love to have a chat over the phone or email to discuss

Thank you
